Biographically, Pete and Brenda are native Virginians who have lived on the Virginia Peninsula since 1983. Married for 37 years, they have been blessed with four wonderful children and 14 grandchildren. Pete has been an ordained Presbyterian minister since 1972, and is Senior Pastor at Calvary Reformed Presbyterian Church in Hampton. For over 20 years, he was Adjunct Professor with Saint Leo University, teaching at various local military bases. In the 1980's Pete worked with Larasan Realty, Better Homes and Gardens.  Over the years he and Brenda have owned and managed various personal investment properties.  In 2005 they joined Duval Associates, REALTORS and in 2009 Pete obtained his Broker's license and is presently an associate broker at Duval.

Brenda holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees, the latest in Accounting from Christopher Newport University. She has worked for both the IRS and the Commissioner of Revenue for Newport News. Pete and Brenda regularly participate in continuing education in real estate. Brenda has attained the following designations:

• Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR): The benchmark of excellence in buyer representation, awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council ("REBAC") of the National Association of REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
• Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES): Addresses the special needs of and gives counsel to maturing Americans when selling, buying, relocating, or refinancing residential or investment properties.
• E-Pro Internet Professional (E-PRO): A special community of highly skilled and continuously trained real estate professionals serving in the online-based real estate industry.
• Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification (SFR) - Training to assist distressed sellers, qualify short sellers, prepare short-sell packages, negotiate with lenders and protect buyers.
• 2011 Five Star Professional Real Estate Agent
